The tradition of this annual international festival of contemporary music goes back all the way to 1957. One of Warsaw's flagship cultural events, the Warsaw Autumn showcases the newest trends in music, presenting them in the context of modern classics. The mission of the event has stayed the same over the years - to cultivate commercial-free, independent new music, with references to twentieth-century music.

The 2024 theme is "Penetration of musical historical languages ​​and sound phenomena belonging to various contemporary genres into contemporary music."

Warsaw Autumn will feature nearly 70 mainstream events: concerts, installations, meetings with composers, composition workshops and more. Sixty-five pieces will be performed and thirty-nine world premieres!
