A new poignant and important section of the Museum of Warsaw's main exhibit, Testimonies from the Warsaw Ghetto, opened last year and looks at Warsaw through the period of German occupation in the 1940s. This exhibit presents viewers with daily life in the ghetto from various perspectives including soldiers and resistance members, women and men, amateurs and professionals. The exhibition includes objects recovered during archaeological digs, making it a truly fascinating journey through a painful time in the city's history.
