This is a great restaurant that has recently undergone a sizeable expansion and now even hosts pierogi workshops! They serve up meat and potatoes in all their varying Polish forms, but in small enough portions to not come away in pain. Think Polish tapas – it’s a great place to go and sample the full range of Polish sausage meat and ham, especially when the prices are so small. As an extra bonus, if you really like your dish you can order some more from the deli to take home for later (they even rent an apartment upstairs now if home is too far). Furthermore, the owner is something of a mead and vodka fanatic; they offer fruit wines, wines from the first organic vineyard in Poland, fruit and herbal tinctures, meads and the best Polish vodkas. There are also a number of events here!

On Wednesdays and Fridays between 12:00 and 14:00 there are pierogi making workshops combined with a presentation about traditional polish kitchen and its interesting facts. In the final part of the workshop, you can eat what you make! The sessions last about 2 hours and cost around 100zł per person -- perfect for groups of 10-30 people (though you can call ahead for bigger groups and a different time).

On Tuesdays and Fridays, come for “Unobvious Poland” an active screen presentation about unknown and therefore very interesting facts about the country’s history, its people and cuisine that can not be found in any guidebook. They share facts about Europe and Poland in 15th century, famous poles, Warsaw and its buildings during WWII, geese horseshoeing and much more! The presentations last for 30 minutes and start at 17:30 for 70zł per person (tea, coffee and dessert are offered).

They also host traditional Polish kitchen food tastings with regional specials such as koryciński, ‘oscypek’, grilled cheeses, and a wide selection of smoked sausages made from beef, pork and geese meats. In addition there will be an alcohol tasting with 2 different vodkas, fruit liquers, fruit wines and meads. During the session they share knowledge about Polish cuisine and its origin. The hour-long session is for groups of 6 or more and costs 120zł per person. Make sure to call ahead to arrange a day!
