The first exhibition of this kind presents the unique Polish jewels collection from various world museums and private owners. There will be about 500 items at the exhibition, among them the ones belonging to the Jagiellonian and Vasa dynasties, as well as the items on loan from various Polish churches. Many Polish noble families were in possession of the most exquisite jewels - for instance, the ones arriving from Vilnius belonged to the Tyszkiewicz family. The other sources include: the Louvre, museums in Florence, Bern, Munich, Uppsala, New York and Berlin. Warsaw Royal Castle's own collection will also be an important part of the exhibition.
