Hidden in Warsaw’s vibrant Wola district – famous for its modern skyscrapers and lively vibe – Fabryka Norblina is the ultimate place to meet. Equal parts foodie haven, cultural hub, and entertainment hotspot, it has everything: from sushi and tacos to live music, immersive art, and spaces for any size gathering.

It may sound like we’ve given away all the good bits before we’ve even dived into the article but trust us – we haven’t even scratched the surface of what Fabryka Norblina has to offer!

A Post-Industrial Paradise

Once a 19th-century bronze workshop, Fabryka Norblina’s history stretches back to 1820, when it began producing items ranging from candlesticks to utensils. Relocated several times, it finally settled on Żelazna Street in the late 19th century, where it became a leading producer of decorative and practical metal goods sold across Europe. After its closure in the early 2000s, the site underwent a stunning transformation, reopening in 2021 as a modern urban complex that preserves 10 historical buildings and other factory elements. Today, this 2-hectare site is a vibrant mix of history and modernity, hosting offices, boutiques, restaurants, bars, museums, and entertainment spaces.

Date Nights, Friend Get-Togethers and More!

We’ve said it already but there are a ton of excellent spaces that are simply perfect for one-on-one or just generally smaller gatherings.

First, if you’re in the mood for food, the massive, and variety-filled Food Town is a must. Located in one building at the center of Fabryka Norblina, this space has 23 culinary concepts, 5 bars, a stage and over 1,000 seats all located across the gorgeous space, which incorporates artistic hanging lights, live plants, and plenty of wood accents for a beautiful experience. You can grab whatever you want here – from creamy gnocchi with truffle at one place, to delectable sushi topped with fresh pink fish, to gyros stuffed with juicy meat and crispy fries, to… well you get the idea. They have everything! And complement it all with a great cocktail at one of the sleek bars staffed by experienced bartenders.



If you’re in the mood to take in some art, Fabryka Norblina is home to one of Warsaw’s premier art spaces with Art Box Experience. This isn’t your typical art gallery – instead, it’s a 360-degree, highly immersive experience. This season, the exhibition is featuring Salvador Dali’s paintings and we can promise this won’t disappoint. The experience is held across 800 m2 of space and dozens of state-of-the-art projectors ensure that the images are top-quality.

What about some live music? You’re in luck because live music is offered at different points around Fabryka Norblina (including Food Town!) But one of our favorites is easily Piano Bar. As the name suggests, live piano music is played here every night and the atmosphere and ambiance is unbeatable. Held over three levels in a late 18th-century historic building, Piano Bar is a charming café during the day and at night, it becomes a thriving stop for live music, cocktails, low lighting, cozy seats and generally some of the best ambiance around.



This is just a taste of what Fabryka Norblina has to offer when it comes to intimate gatherings - there’s plenty more. Restaurants like the stylish Amar Beirut, serve up delectable Lebanese food in a bright contemporary space, and also offers live music, a garden, a rooftop bar and more across its three floors. Or there’s Bibi’s – one of the most popular places in town, with bright, fresh lunch offerings and perfectly brewed coffee. And much much more (museums, more art, more food and drink) for those times you just want to get together with friends.

Large-Scale Events Thrive
 

Before you go thinking that this spot is exclusively for small gatherings, let’s change tack. There are a ton of excellent spaces that are simply perfect big corporate events, birthday parties or anything else you can dream of.
When you’re planning one of those big events, we’d suggest MOXO at the top of the list. This spacious event area offers 210 seats in a contemporary, industrial-chic space with soaring ceilings and top-of-the-line AV equipment. Over 700 people can fit in a standing, cocktail setting alone! Plus, with a stage and the largest LED screen in Poland, you can host almost any kind of event here. There are even cozy little VIP lounge spaces with low lighting and comfy couches which can be rented for smaller occasions.



The food and drink options here are also top-notch. For drinks, find the tallest bar in the country with tons of liquor options and delicious, original cocktails. For food, taste the innovative stylings of Nikkei Kitchen, which expertly blends Japanese and Peruvian cuisines like sushi, ceviche, seafood and more.

Another excellent option to look into for large gatherings is KinoGram – a cinema but also so much more. Two movie theaters offer multiple rooms with seating for anywhere from 48 to 112 guests among the comfy, reclining chairs (which each come with a little table). Plus, there’s tailored catering and bar services, meaning you can get a top-notch cocktail or a bite during your event. There’s even two ballrooms if you’re in the mood to host more active events, along with options for excellent catering (and options to choose a theme for your food) and long contemporary conference rooms for meetings.



That should cover it, right? Well, not exactly – there are still more spaces on offer! Remember Food Town with its plethora of incredible dining options, served in a chic, well-lit space? Well there are plenty of options for event spaces there, too! First, the dining area itself (specifically the breakfast area and central area) can be rented out for bigger events. But we say start with The Gimlet Room. Locted in Food Town, the Gimlet Room is billed as “a creative space for rent” and it fits that bill, with a wide stage, LED screen, concert sound system, stage lighting and top-notch equipment (think concerts, big presentations, parties and much more). Plus, there’s a private bar and catering options!

This all simply scratches the surface of what Fabryka Norblina has to offer.
