Opened in 2004, this is the unofficial home of Warsaw counter-culture, and something of a community centre for wacky art types, they’re all here - from ex-pat hacks typing up tomorrow’s copy, to drama queers committing theatre scripts to memory. Distracting them from the duty at hand are jazzy tunes, poetry slams, monthly photography exhibitions, concerts, dance parties and the occasional comedy show plus plenty of wine and beer to add to the cheer. Chairs of varying style and condition, board games and batty artwork all add to the atmosphere, making C25 every bit as appealing as it is curious.

Still my favourite place to go for a beer and a good comfortable chat with friends. A wide selection of beers, some snacks, comfortable sofas, good music and a great atmosphere. The bar staff are friendly and polite, and the prices are reasonable.

choldna 25 is the best cafe/bar i found in warsaw to date. good drinks, good sofas, good atomosphere, good toasted sandwiches, good surroundings. just like a nice local relaxing back in the uk. go there, try it, enjoy it!

Where else do young pianists get up early on a Sunday, put on a velvet jacket and play wonderfully to please the regular Sunday crew? Why Chlodna 25 of course! It's cafés like Chlodna 25 that make Warsaw so appealing. In a drab building, in a not so architecturally attractive street, walk in and discover that intellect and artistry can be combined. Keep up the good work Chlodna 25!
