One of the most outstanding Polish artists of the 20th Century, Zdzislaw Beksinski (1929-2005) was an engineer, architect, painter, sculptor, photographer, draughtsman and computer graphics artist. And now, the focus of an exhibit held at the Archdiocese Museum, which is presenting 27 of Beksinski's works from a private collection for the fourth time.

Beksinski's paintings are meant to be interpreted individually and often evoke extreme emotions: some like them, others are shocked by them, and some dislike them. Beksinski, who did not give his paintings titles, recognized that each viewer could interpret them for himself in any way he wanted.
