Jazz - the coolest, freest, and yet deepest music humans have ever made. An expression of thought and feeling. It can be slow and melancholy, or quick and light. It's simply what the musicians feel at the time. Warsaw Summer Jazz Days festival is the celebration of this coolest of music. It has a history going all the way back to the early nineties, when it began as a rival event to the Jazz Jamboree Festival. Previous editions have welcomed stars like Pat Metheny, Al Di Meola, Steve Coleman, Modern Jazz Quartet, and others. This year the festival will host such stars as: Kamila Drabek Tercet, Jazzmeia Horn, Stanley Clarke Band, Andrzej Kowalski Quartet, All Too Human feat. Marc Ducret, Snarky Puppy, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Scott Henderson Trio, James Brandon Lewis Quintet, Garcia Nubya, Kenny Garrett Quintet, and Benny Golson Quartet.
