In recent years South Korea has made its biggest European investments in Poland, and the arrival of big corporations like Samsung, LG and Daewoo has meant an increase in the number of South Koreans based in the capital. 2010 saw the opening of the Korean Cultural Centre, which aims to introduce the traditional and contemporary culture of Korea to Poland. Not just a podium for promoting Korean art and culture, however, the KCC is also a place for Poles and Koreans to mix and exchange cultural ideas.
