The following exhibition wishes to expand upon the mutual fight toward freedom and truth, solidarity between Poland and Hungary, and shared histories of communist oppression. Offering works of art by both Poles and Hungarians, the exhibition presents a history which, in many ways, lives on to contemporary times. In many ways, the memory of the revolution still exists in the consciousness of Poland, and thus, understanding exhibitions such as these brings both foreigners and Poles one step closer to understanding the country’s nuanced history.
