Sofia's annual marathon takes place on the weekend of 12th/ 13th October. 
The main event for the full marathon starts at 09:30 from Battenberg Square, in front of the art gallery and Ethnographic Museum. Staggered times for 1/2 marathon and 10 km run. The 5km fun run takes place the evening before at 18:00
