German and Bulgarian-language school located in the wooded district of Knyazhevo on the outskirts of Sofia in a former state school building with a large outdoor play area. Particular emphasis is placed on extra curricular activities and the children are taught to respect one another and the environment. Uwekind is the first school in Bulgaria accredited with the Middle Years Programme of the IB.
