Founded in 1966, the Victor Hugo French High School is the only school in Sofia offering French-language education, approved by the French Ministry of Education. It currently has more than 800 pupils from 27 nationalities.

Part of the AEFE network, le Lycée Victor Hugo programme is based on the French national curriculum, offering additional Bulgarian language classes. With highly qualified  teachers,  80%  being French natives. It welcomes pupils from 3 years old in Petite Section, to secondary school.
