Found in the tiny village of Rhyd Ddu, the Cwellyn Arms is the sort of pub we often imagine ourselves spending the rest of our lives in. Run by good people serving excellent food and even better beer, this independently-supported business is all about how it can make its patrons experience better, be that through regional advice, charming stories or the occasional bit of Welsh humour. The food deserves special mention, pub grub cooked by someone who is far too good for the term ‘grub’.
