When you're looking for a good place to eat in an unfamiliar town, the number of patrons frequenting a restaurant can of course be a useful gauge of its quality. Il Duca is full most days, in spite of its less than spectacular décor. Thankfully, the big attraction here is the food itself. Despite the exorbitant prices, the traditional Italian dishes are excellent and even the kids' menu is unique offering such delights as deep fried squid. Just tell the children it's fried chicken.
