When you visit a gallery, it is easy to get lost in the finished delights of the art on show. What is often forgotten is the blood, sweat and tears that go into a piece, from conception to completion. Dotted around Rijeka and Kastav are several ateliers where people can visit artists in the thick of it, to see where the magic happens and experience art in gorgeously private atmospheres.
