What exactly is the concept of “otherness”? What does it mean to live outside the boundaries of mainstream society? These questions and more are tackled in this fabulous exhibition, which presents more than 30 artworks from the National Museum of Modern Art in Zagreb, pieces created from the second half of the 19th century to the present day. The exhibition covers everything from feminism and decolonisation to gender and sexuality, featuring works by Vlaho Bukovac, Nasta Rojc, Ksenija Kantoci, and many more.
