A visit to the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre reveals several murals and graffiti art installations on different sides of the building. The first is the Audiomural on the back of the east wing. Created in 2013, the 700 square metre black-and-white mural representing a soundboard was repainted and refreshed in 2021.
Next is the 'We're driving culture' mural on the facade of NCK's west wing. Created during the second edition of the Nowa Huta Art Festival, the mural covers 400 square metres of space, 9 metres above the ground and is visible from the street.
Lastly, the most exciting space for graffiti and street art at NCK is undoubtedly the driveway leading to the back of the building and Przestrzenie Nowohuckie. Both sides of this long corridor are bursting with colourful street art by various artists. Perhaps most notable is a mural by local artist Pieksa commemorating Bogdan Łyszkiewicz - the frontman of the Polish band 'Chłopcy z Placu Broni' - created on the 25th anniversary of his death.
