The 2018 World Rowing Championships will take place at Plovdiv Rowing Channel (Maritsa River Water Sports Centre). 950 competitors from 62 nations competing for the title of World Champion  in 14 Olympic, six international and nine para-rowing boat classes. The  venue takes pride in being one of the fastest in the world and all week the competitors have been spotted around town and busy training on the channel.
