A massive space with plush furniture, exquisite interior details, extremely attentive service and a menu created by head chef Andrey Mamontov of the White Rabbit and Savva fame, Wine Time on Tsvetnoy Bulvar screams refined elegance without the industrial chic typical of wine bars these days. The bar’s sommelier has gathered wines from the world over and prices range from 2,000-25,000Rbl per bottle. As for food, you’ll find the menu dominated by cheeses and cheese-based appetizers like quiche, arancini and burrata with fresh vegetables, as well as seafood and meat dishes. Wine Time sources cheese and ice cream from the Maria Koval Dairy, run by an artisanal cheesemaker whose skill makes her cheese indistinguishable from the western types now banned due to sanctions.
