St. Andrews Anglican Chaplaincy has been serving the Anglican community in Moscow since 1885. Regular English-language Sunday services are Holy Communion 08:30 (Common Worship Order Two) and Sung Eucharist at 11:00 (Common Worship Order One). Sunday school takes place during the 11:00 service. The chaplaincy also hosts numerous community events throughout the year, including a Village Fete in September and Christmas Bazaar in December. For the most up-to-date information, please visit the chaplaincy website or www.facebook.com/moscowanglican. St. Andrews is also a notable historic site. The only Victorian neo-Gothic building in Moscow, the unique red-brick structure was designed by British architect Richard Knill Freeman. It was the site of a shootout between Bolsheviks and supporters of the Provisional Government in October 1917 and served as the recording studio for famous Soviet record label Melodiya.
