This Japanese restaurant is located in the hip Patriarch Ponds area. Shiba can be translated as "a small place" from one of the Japanese dialects. The head chef is Japan's very own Masao Kikuchi and he is joined in the kitchen by chef Andrey Tsoy. Shiba is small and cozy: there can only be 56 guests at once so everybody can watch how the sushi is being made in the open kitchen. The interior embodies Japanese values – it is minimal, reserved and sophisticated.
