Na Melnitse (At the Mill) opened in the heart of Moscow in 1999 and for almost 20 years the chefs have been adding new dishes to the menu, the recipes of which were collected during gastronomic expeditions to Russian villages and small towns. Secrets of how to ferment the most delicious cabbage, to cook the clearest jam and to sculpt the finest dumplings were brought back to the capital. Every guest will find their favorite dish on the menu: aspic and stuffed fish, quail and duck, dumplings and pirogis and, of course, homemade pickles. All the food is made from ingredients grown and harvested with love and care on the farms of Russia.
