The brainchild of a “Soviet-produced Greek”, Alexey Karolidis, Molon Lave serves up the most authentic tzatziki, horiatiki, moussaka and kolokithokeftedes that the capital has to offer. And it’s no wonder, after all the head chef Stamatis Tsilias was invited to Russia especially for this project. Those who really know their Greek specialties will be delighted to find real retsina (white/rosé resinated wine), as well as other wines from Greece, Greek ouzo and metaxa. The interior is also worth a special mention. Designed by the people who brought you Noor and Dodo, Molon Lave has an eclectic feel to it boasting wooden taverna furniture and philosophers’ busts mixed with modern lighting elements and curious little bric-a-bracs.
