Certainly one of Moscow's best cared for banya complexes and much less touristy than the famous Sanduny baths. There's been a bathhouse here since the 19th Century, although sadly the building you see now is a red brick 1970s reconstruction of the old art nouveau style building. Krasnopresnenskie has ample men and women's sections with swimming pools, massage rooms and steam rooms as well as the traditional Russian saunas. Make sure to bring your friends along so you can follow the Russians in taking advantage of the flasks of tea while you let off some steam and have a gossip in the relaxing area.
