The history of the "Central Kids Store on Lubyanka" dates back to 1953. Since then, the department store has become a city icon and received the status of an object of cultural heritage of regional value. To keep it looking stunning, major renovation works recently took place and in 2015 the new and improved "Central Kids Store" (Centralny Detsky Mir) opened its doors to visitors! In addition to that, a free observation deck was opened where anyone can enjoy the views of Moscow’s historic center.
