Having evolved significantly from the first and second wave of Japanese restaurants, Buba by Sumosan is stylish and sleek (without overly traditional Japanese elements in the interior) and boasts a bar all along its perimeter. The bar menu consists of about a dozen cocktails, just a few sorts of wines and sakes meaning you won't be glued to the menu for hours trying to make your pick. The food menu is the same collection of Japanese dishes understandable to the Moscow public (sushi, sashimi, salads, rolls, soups, noodles and fish and meat mains) as well as a few surprising positions like the Japanese tuna burger – but without a ridiculous price tag.
