Slovenia's history of apiculture, or beekeeping for those not familiar with the technical terminology, is one of the most storied not only in all of Europe, but the entire world, with the 18th-century apiarist Anton Janša commonly referred to as the Father of Modern beekeeping. The small shop can be found on the south side of Glavni Trg, directly opposite the Plague Column.
