While the name likely brings to mind certain Cold War associations, in actually stands for Kulturno Glasbeni Brlog, which directly translates to 'Cultural Music Lair' - in reference to the subterranean dungeon-like premises which frequently hosts live music. Although it can be a bit on the damp musty side (and thus avoided by those with respiratory problems), we gladly count KGB as one of our favourite night spots in all of Slovenia, as it's not often than you can listen to good live music, drink cheap alcohol and feel like a 9th century nobleman all at the same time.
