Although they never really took off as personal transporters, Segways remain popular for city tours. You can choose between a short or long city trip, taking in Lucerne's major sights. The longer one takes place each Saturday and Sunday at 14:00 and includes a trip up quiet roads to Dietschiberg for stunning views of the city. If, however, you prefer nature then try the Horwer Peninsular tour, where within a few minutes you're transported out of the city and quickly surrounded by fields and vineyards, not to mention the lake and mountains. But if you're more of a history buff or want to be on roads as little as possible, then enjoy the tour of the Sonnenberg Civilian Bunker built during the Cold War.
