Many of the great cities of the world, like New York and Sydney, each have a central park. But how about a central vineyard? As part of the centuries-old wine traditions of Zielona Góra, it is quite normal for the locals to wander through a vineyard at some point during the week, even in the city centre. This is especially true for those living in the urban centre, who have access to Park Winny (ENG: Wine Park), a recreational space complete with a vineyard of its very own. Formerly Górą Ceglaną (ENG: Brick Hill), here you can also find a playground, a maze, a 19th-century winemaker's cottage, and Palmiarnia (ENG: Palm House).
