Kensington is about as high and mighty as London gets (no small honour) and its high street remains a busy place for shopping in the west of the city. This is a decidedly upmarket part of town and that is reflected in the shops, but the flipside is that it provides a fascinating look into how the rich and beautiful spend their pennies. There is plenty of history here as well.
