'The Marriage of Figaro' was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's most important compositions, and this comic opera pearl continues to entertain, surprises, and deliver a moral lesson more than two centuries after it first premiered. The opera tells the story of servants Figaro and Susanna, who succeed in getting married, after foiling their philandering employer Count Almaviva intensions towards the bride-to-be. Purposefully tongue-in-cheek, and exhalting grace and lightness, Figaro is also a harmlessly 'mad' opera, and through the stage production at the Grand Theatre in Łódź, it has just become even crazier!
