After a renovation, Szpulka is back with a new colourful look that's both cheerful and energetic. The food at Szpulka is a culinary journey through the world's cuisines with a special focus on Polish cuisine -- there is also a wide selection of fish, seafood and meat dishes. Fans of green cuisine will also be pleased to see that there a plenty of vegetarian-friendly options, too! A real hit is the zalewajka, a traditional Polish sour soup made with boiled potatoes, which originated in Łódź! In the summer be sure to try the sweet strawberry dumplings served with young cabbage -- a refreshing treat!
Their breakfasts are a highlight and are served starting from 8.30 am. on weekdays and 9 a.m. on weekends (in fact, it's the only place in Manufaktura to serve breakfast at 8:30) until noon. They include classics like poached eggs with smoked salmon or sweet challah toast with blueberry, raspberry and cherry jam. In the summer they serve Czech potato dumplings (knedle) with strawberries and sweet cabbage. The bar, along with alcoholic beverages, includes lemonades and vitamin bombs
The restaurant's garden is known for its beautiful flowers and strawberries and has won the title of Manufaktura's most beautiful garden for 4 years! And bring your dog along -- pets are welcome here!
