Eight operatic works by this prolific and famous composer -- including 4 that are in the permanent repertoire of the Grand Theater -- will be presented at this must-see event! Madam Butterfly, Turandot, La Boheme and more.
Additionally, they will present a concert performance of the opera Tosca on Noveber 28 -- exactly the 100th anniversary of Puccini's death. Local academic circles as well as cultural institutions of the Lodz Voivodeship will be invited to cooperate in the Festival, which is held from Nov. 15 to Dec. 22. The last performance of the festival - Turandot - will be on the 166th anniversary of Puccini's birth.
