Aleksandra Tomaszewska is one of the up and coming music composers in Poland of this generation of musicians. She has created music with NDR BigBand, Kalisz Philharmonic, and Young Poland Philharmonic as well as Polish Radio Orchestra, the musicians she will collaborate with for this specific concert. Along with the Polish Radio Orchestra Tomaszewska will help recreate the works of the Polish music composer Bronisław Kaper. Kaper is an Oscar laureate for his work on the 1953 film “Lili” and jazz lovers will surely recognize his “On Green Dolphin Street” and “Invitation” played by such famous musicians as Miles Davis and Stan Getz.
