Beginning in front of the Town Hall, the tour takes you through the historical city centre whose unique architecture is the legacy of the Baroque and Art Nouveau periods and, most notably, the work of the famed 20th-century architect Jože Plečnik. The tour includes a stop at one of Ljubljana’s traditional restaurants, where you’ll have an opportunity to taste local Slovene dishes as part of a short tasting session. After the restaurant, the tour continues by boat along the Ljubljanica River, providing an opportunity to experience the Old Town’s picturesque bridges, façades and embankments from a completely different perspective. The route is a circular cruise between Plečnik’s Ljubljanica Sluice Gate and the Špica Embankment.
