Stay more than a few days in Slovenia and you’ll probably be offered a slice of potica, a delicate pastry that goes well with the local coffee. If you’re in the old part of town we recommend trying the LePotičke at Le Potica, small, bite-sized versions of this traditional dessert that make perfect gifts, are always freshly baked, come beautifully packaged, and are sold in a variety of flavours. Just be sure you get enough to take home, as once you start sampling you may find it difficult to stop.
