Sometimes, when the black soot of the coal mines, the unforgiving greyness of the concrete (and the air), and the unvaried whiteness of the Polish diet have conspired to give you the Silesian Blues, it's good to get a little green in your life. And that's what this 6.5 hectare plot of pleasantness is for. Not the most lush or exotic you've seen, but it is a welcome slice of serenity with a stream, several picturesque ponds surrounded by willows, a palm house, cactus house, English gardens and a children's playground. A great place to decompress or make a guest appearance in the background of someone's wedding photos. To get there by bus from downtown Zabrze, hop on numbers 32, 932 or 720.
