Functioning since 2007, and run by the Katowice Academy of Fine Arts (ASP), Rondo Sztuki is located in the building that looks like a half finished UFO...next to the fully functioning UFO just across from it, otherwise known as Spodek. Rondo Sztuki's m.o. is to be a gallery open to all in Katowice, and all for free. The exhibitions feature works by many across Silesia, from established artists, to those progressing through the ranks in the academy. This is a place for students to showcase their work, for people to come and enjoy it, but also a place for all to have the chance to see works by internationally recognised artists - David Lynch and Pablo Picasso, to name just two whose pieces have been exhibited here! There are over 190 varieties of work exhibited here, from paintings, posters and photography, and it's definitely worth visiting, and it's also right on  your way to the cultural zone.
