The Days Inn Hessenland may look unspectacular now, but back in 1953 when it was opened, the sweeping lobby staircase, the varnished wood world map on the first floor, the 'thinking elevator' and modern rooms caused a sensation. Room 105 has been kept in original 1950s style, and can be used on request; all other rooms are modern. Top-floor rooms overlooking the Grimm-Platz have wonderful views all the way up Wilhelmshöher Allee to the Herkules monument.
