Tucked away in a residential area close to the centre, this is the closest thing Kaliningrad has to a proper pub. The key reason for that is the ownership who seemingly hold court most nights from one side of the bar or the other debating the topics of the day with the regulars whether the topic be politics, sport or whatever. There is a clear Scottish theme running through the decor and we actually bumped into a bunch of the staff as they served Guinness from a temporary bar on the waterfront one evening when they were all decked out in kilts. The pub itself has a well-stocked bar, some English-speaking staff and a decent bar food menu. You'll be made to feel right at home. One word of warning. This place has the most remarkable/unusual/uncivilised* toilets in town. (*Delete as applicable and feel free to send us your own adjective).
