An interesting ‘museum’ in that it is set in an apartment and is designed to give you a look into how a typical apartment in this area would have looked in pre-war Königsberg. Created and managed by a group of friends, the apartment shows how merchant and grocery store owner, Gustav Grossman and his family would have lived 100 years ago by recreating the apartment, built in 1912 and then furnishing it with period furniture and design. The museum also tells the story of the suburbs of Amalienau and Khufen.
