Soshanguve-born pianist Thandi Ntuli began playing the piano from the age of four and comes from a musical family - her uncle was the lead vocalist, pianist and guitarist of 1970s pop fusion band Harari.

A self-released artist, her debut jazz album The Offering featured collaborations with some of South Africa’s brightest emerging and established contemporary jazz musicians including Standard Bank Young Jazz Artist for 2017 Benjamin Jephta and internationally-renowned trumpeter Marcus Wyatt.

This concert titled Ndiza comes just before the release of Ntuli's highly anticipated second album. Ntuli describes the album as “not only representative of one of my most compelling pursuits in life, but it’s also a journey back to where it all began”.
