This group exhibition delves into the ancient human need to glimpse the ethereal and the sublime in order to create meaning in daily life. Sacred and Profane questions the common urge to reinvent spirituality that each generation confronts at one point or another. Contrasting the everyday 'profane' world with that of the holy or sacred, the exhibition explores a range of new visions of mankind's place in the spiritual and material worlds. Featured artists include Stephan Erasmus, Ronél de Jager, Wayne Matthews and Neil Nieuwoudt.
