It's Christmas in January with the inaugural Milk + Cookies Festival at Huddle Park in Joburg. Although it may seem like an unusual way to kick off the year, it promises to be the perfect cure for those post-holiday blues. Featuring a host of stars, the event is headlined by Canadian producer and DJ, Kaytranada.
"This isn't just about putting on a show; it's about immersing ourselves in the culture, learning from it, and contributing to it," says a spokesperson for the festival. "Our goal is to celebrate the local culture while blending it with global sounds to create something truly special."
The outdoor festival is part of Milk + Cookies Music Week South Africa, which takes place from Tue, Dec 31 – Sun, Jan 12. Follow @milkcookiesfest on Instagram for updates.
