Nelson Mandela Square's series of free live music events, Live on the Square, is back from November 19 to December 24. Save the dates, as each weekend brings a new artist or artists to the stage. A great way to spend a warm summer afternoon or evening outdoors, especially with so many good restaurant choices to enjoy, and of course plenty of shopping. Added good news is the extension of Colossal, a sculpture exhibition by Anton Smit in the square with monumental works on display. The works have been rearranged for this occasion.

The live music series features the likes of Majozi, Garth Taylor, Femi Koya, Boki Ntsimi & Nathi Shongwe, Rocketeers and others.

Performances will take place on Saturdays from 19:00-20:00 and on Sundays from 14:00-16:00.
Special performances are scheduled with Majozi for Fri, Dec 16 from 19:00-20:00, Garth Taylor on Fri, Dec 23 from 19:00-20:00, with Rocketeers lined up for a show on Sat, Dec 24, from 19:00-20:00 for those looking to enjoy an upbeat Christmas Eve.
