Local heritage preservation activists the Johannesburg Heritage Foundation hosts a tour of the Johannesburg Country Club this Saturday, exploring the unique history of this historic club and taking a walk through the beautiful blooming gardens. Among the many sights are heritage buildings such as the Secretary’s Residence, the stables and the contemporary architectural landmark pavilion at the clubhouse. The tour ends with tea and scones served on the terrace overlooking the lawns.
