The annual Hong Ning Chinese Aged Home Spring Festival is back on Sat, Sep 7 at Rivonia Central Mall and this year marks the 44th edition of this beloved festival.

The festival is a celebration that offers a unique opportunity to embrace traditional Chinese customs while showing respect and appreciation for the residents of the Hong Ning Chinese Aged Home.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of outdoor entertainment that include a fashion show, kung fu demonstration, and live music performances. The lion and dragon dance performances by the Chung Wah Dragon & Lion Dance Troupe and Chan’s Dragon, Lion Dance and WuShu Team are sure to captivate the audience.

Food enthusiasts will be delighted by the array of culinary offerings. From Chinese jelly and bubble waffles to Hong Ning braaied chicken and sui kai (deep fried chicken drum sticks). Additionally, festival-goers can explore a variety of goods and services at numerous stalls.

The 2024 Hong Ning Spring Festival is a  fusion of food, fun, fashion, and culture, leaving attendees with full bellies and fond memories.
