As part of its one-night-only 'For Once' series of experimental performances, Arts On Main's multi-disciplinary, collaborative arts space The Centre for the Less Good Idea presents Umsebenzi Ka Bra Shakes, a fresh new look at Shakespeare and the playwright's position in contemporary South Africa.

Starring a cast of eight brilliant local actors, the play explores the use and relevance of Shakespeare for South African performers, storytellers, makers, learners and audiences and interrogates Shakespeare's place within local culture and language contexts, raising questions around violence, masculinity and representation.
